What it is
GHK-Cu is the copper(II) complex of the human tripeptide glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine (GHK). It is classed as a copper-binding tripeptide. It is supplied as lyophilized material for research use only.
Mechanism (technical)
GHK-Cu has been studied for its association with copper homeostasis, oxidative-stress pathways, and modulation of gene expression. Preclinical work has examined its influence on inflammation and fibrosis markers, including a study implicating peroxiredoxin 6 in a silicosis model.
